Hawaii Underwater Metal Detector Service

Hawaii lost and found rings in the water, waikiki beach, the island of Oahu only!

Specializing in underwater metal detecting

We are Hawaii's underwater metal detection service, on the island of Oahu, if you have lost a ring in the water at the beach or on the sand, we may be able to find it for you!

If you wish to do it yourself we can rent you an underwater metal detector, you will need to provide a $300.00 CASH deposit and be willing to pay $80 for 48 hours usage or $150.00 for 72 hours usage. In some circumstances I will be lenient on the return time as I have 2 rental units available.

So a total of $380 to start for a rental

If you lost your ring or item in water over your head (more than 5 feet deep) or far offshore, and want to rent a metal detector, you will have to be able to scuba dive, or you may have to consider the item is totally lost.

If you are inquiring about lost items on another island, I do not know anybody on any other islands!

I do not do grass or yards, please do not call me, I do not do those searches.

I do not sell metal detectors or offer advice on metal detectors.

We are always called by the Outrigger Canoe Club when any member loses a valuable item.

We have also been called by the Royal Hawaiian Hotel's concierge desk to recover a guests lost ring.

A wedding band will cost $25.00 to show up (Waikiki), and $100.00 after we find it ($125 total).

If you dont know exactly where you lost the ring in the water, its $75.00* to show up and $50.00 if we find it, this buys you 1 hour of my time in the water

Some areas of Oahu are very long drives for me, and prices for that are made by quotes, ex: North Shore is $110.00 just to show.  Kaneohe, Waimanalo and Kailua is $100.00 just to show.  Sandy beach and Makapuu is $75

If this is your case, you may want to rent the detector from me.

A negotiable fee is required before I search for your item, we need to keep each other honest.

Being the best in the island it can take 2 minutes to 3 hours as long as you know where it is.

If you are dealing with a diamond ring or piece of jewelry it is best to be honest and fair with us, as dishonest and cheap people usually cause problems.

We ask that you offer at least $200 if the value of the item is $500

A ring with a 1/4 carat diamond usually costs $150.00 a 1/2 carat engagement ring will usually run $200 to $500 and a 1 carat is $500 to $1000

I have recently searched and found 2 engagement rings with diamonds (1 was .50 ct) and both cost $200 to find.  Both owners knew where they were, and 1 took 20 minutes, the other took 1 hour in the pounding surf.  As long as you know the exact area, recovery is possible.

Please note, I DO NOT want your rings or jewelry, I prefer to have cash and return your item, we both walk away happy and my Karma wont kill me.

We also can find dentures, glasses, some chains, bracelets, watches, and wallets, yes people swim with wallets.

I will ask you these questions, please have the answers ready!

Do you know exactly where the ring is? and do you know exactly when it fell off?

Is it over your head depth? Can you touch bottom?

What time of day was it lost?

Do you have exact landmarks, pictures?

Was the bottom sandy, or rocky?

Can you put me on a spot the area the size of 2 parking spaces for 2 cars?

If you dont know exactly where you lost the ring in the water, its $75.00* to show up and $50.00 if we find it, for a plain wedding band, this buys you 1 hour of my time in the water
